Which One Is Really My Life?

My life looks better in pictures, I've decided.

It looks like I have my act together.

It looks like my children are carefree and content.

It looks like I create happy, meaningful experiences for my family.

It looks like my children cherish one another.

In pictures it looks like all of those other blogs. All those scrapbooks. All those Christmas Letters. It almost looks like a Mormon commercial.

I think you can add that to the "answers" column. Pictures ARE memories. Your children will cherish these pictures for all their lives and they will remember their childhood as safe, loving and cohesive because that's what they'll see every time they open the family photo album. It's brain washing of sorts . . . and I'm cool with that.

I'm with Jodi. I'm cool with that kind of brainwashing!
